Forward
We have opportunities for personal career development in the drug and alcohol misuse field supporting ‘Growth through Learning and Change via Action’. Over the past 2 years we have completed the first phases of development, which have increased our previous 19 beds to a 32 bed treatment facility. Due to our current re-organization, and further planned growth, we need to increase our enthusiastic and dynamic team, therefore we are looking to recruit exceptional people for our unit.

Client Group
Our clients are referred from many different sources, privately (self-referral or family), through their GP, Social Services or the criminal justice system, as a consequence they come from many varied social backgrounds, from professional to unemployed families, and/or even no family at all. The common thread running through them all is substance misuse, often resulting in criminal behaviour patterns, and inappropriate values, beliefs, attitudes and behaviours.

Programme Development
Over the last twelve years we have developed a modular system of educational and therapeutic programmes focused on the individuals emotional and practical needs. Following central governments recent strategies in respect of substance misuse and re-offending, we are taking a pro-active approach and are initiating the development of interactive educational modules, addressing societies core social behavioural expectations and beliefs. The following will give you some indication of the elements we are currently considering.
